What Makes a Purposeful Snack? When I was younger, I’d go through a dozen energy bites a week—back then, loaded with peanut butter and whey, my IBS’s worst nightmare. But I couldn’t give up my favorite snack, so I created a version that’s easier to digest and better nourishes my body. Here’s what makes a snack truly purposeful:
- Nutritious: It should give my body the nutrients it craves and support my digestion.
- Simple: It has to be easy to make and fit my busy lifestyle.
- Feel-Good: Most importantly, it has to bring joy—because food should make us happy, too!
That’s why I created these Pumpkin Protein Power Bites. They’re a quick, nutrient-packed snack with only six ingredients. Plus, they’re highly customizable—almost anything can be substituted to suit your taste! Loaded with prebiotics, plant-based protein, and anti-inflammatory spices, they’re gentle on digestion and packed with cozy fall flavors that make every bite feel like a treat.
